Three revered artists, touring together for the first time, will represent the glorious and diverse musical history of New Orleans and of Southern gospel in one powerhouse concert. Grammy-winner Irma Thomas, the “Soul Queen of New Orleans,” is a frequent artistic collaborator with Allen Toussaint and New Orleans’ musical royalty. The Blind Boys of Alabama, six-time Grammy winners, have redefined traditional gospel for a new generation. The Preservation Hall Legacy Quintet is synonymous with the rich jazz heritage of the French Quarter. A special evening steeped in musical tradition.
